Dan Denegre is a New York–based director and producer drawn to stories that live at the edge of control — where structure gives way to transformation.

With roots in award-winning horror and branded content, Dan’s work is defined by its cinematic tension, rhythmic editing, and emotional precision. His shorts (Vultures, Everything’s Fine) have won accolades at genre festivals across the U.S., while his branded work for Ubisoft, Notion, and Adobe brings narrative depth to complex ideas.

His debut feature, It Waits Below, is a psychological horror set in modern-day Appalachia, currently in development with Nicholas Nyhof. He is also writing Anganoth, a mythic thriller exploring patriarchal power and monstrous inheritance.

Through his production company, Space Race Studio, Dan creates work that bridges the gap between emotionally resonant storytelling and bold, modern visual language.
